Inspirations
The idea for this project stemmed from Boiler Grades and Gopher Grades, which provide extra details about courses and professors at Purdue University and the University of Minnesota, respectively, that aren't available on Dawg Path and OSU Class Data Explorer.
Dataset
We received the UW Grade Distribution data from 2010 to 2016 from a previous FOIA request by Austin Walters.
We submitted an FOIA request for the grade data from 2018 to 2024. This file is called Grade_Dist_Update, but is substantially less useful due to the new data suppression policy implemented by UW starting September 2023.
